The Human Factors in Surgery Network (HFSN) is a UK based, cross-specialty national organisation dedicated to advancing the understanding and application of human factors in the surgical field.

The network adopts a collaborative, trainee-led model which aims to undertake research projects that enhance surgical safety and efficacy.

HFSN provides a platform for trainee doctors to engage with experts, network with peers, and develop their careers in the domain of human factors and surgical safety.
